I came across the Fundraising for Nonprofits: Announcing the September Giving Carnival: Predicting the Future of Fundraising blog today. Below is my response to what I think the fundraising world will look like in 2017.
As the younger generation gets older the internet is going to play a very important role in fundraising.
- A majority of people will make donations through the internet
- Non-profits will try to substitute SPAM for direct mail, and they will fail
- The government will be faced to do some kind of fundraising
- www.squidoo.com will be a major fundraising engine for non-profits
- Non-profits will be fundraising money off of Google ads from high traffic websites (even though it might be taxed since it's not directly related)
Just some quick thoughts on what I see happening ten years from now in the world of fundraising.

Christopher, thanks so much for your Giving Carnival post. Will post a links to all the contributions to my blog by the end of the week.
